“Uplift”
A 2009 Painting, this sat in my studio for some years before I looked at and asked why isnt this hanging somewhere?
It is currently for sale at Snoh.
I find it so interesting how we can create and then totally disregard something, and only later realize the value of it…
I work in such excruciating detail on so many pieces, that after a while, it will often reduce to just a big field of points and strokes in my eye.
I often have to sit back and “take my eyes off of” a piece for awhile, so that I can return and finally appreciate it’s beauty.
