Just finished an awesome 3-day tattoo marathon!! This guy sits like a CHAMP.
The end of the third day hendrix was about ready to pass out, I was exhausted, but it was well worth it.

Hendrix is an awesome local pop abstract artist- he is one of the better-known artists around; perfect strangers people come in all the time and recognize his art on the walls, and I’ve sold almost a dozen of his pieces.

Its a great synergy when we get together- he convinced me to start painting, and we’ve done a lot of art fusion and live painting stuff around the Phoenix art scene together.

Ive gotten a lot of compliments on the *gauntlet on Hendrix’s other arm, so I’m glad to get to do some more work together, but it is actually his design!

Hendrix has been designing his own piece- He will come with his sketches, we’ll refined and customize them, and place them to fit his physique. Then we free-hand the design in place and get to tattooing!

I just contribute suggestions on the design, body placement, some reference material, and my Top  Secret black mix for a super-rich tribal 😉

Long day sketching and designing… by the end of which we were pooped

Needless to say at the end of day three, neither one of us felt very model-esque, so pics will have to wait… lol.
It was time to invoke the great spirit of Sailor Jerry via his Mighty Spiced Rum and call it a day. lol!
