Japanese art, symbolism, graphical language, mythos, and warrior culture has been a life-long fascination for Tariq.

Finally able to explore it more fully through his tattoo work and art education, the clean and orderly aesthetic, fascination with the macabre, attention to detail in craft, yet appreciation of the poetry and irony in the flaws and imperfections of all things natural are a strong influence in his art.

He hopes to soon have the opportunity to complete his pilgrimage to Japan to study tattooing, art, and design.
